Dr. Tarek Ayas
Dr. Ayas graduated in 1986 from The University of Damascus ranking within the top 10 of his class. He then moved to Texas in 1987 and completed the Texas State Board in 1994 and has been practicing in Texas ever since. After completing the Texas State Board, Dr. Ayas opened his first practice on Matlock Rd in 1995, and moved to his current location on Cooper Street in 2007.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Ayas has continued to further develop his skills by pursuing his passion for implants and restorative dentistry as he has incorporated the latest technology of 3d imaging for precision placement of implants as well as advanced dental knowledge by keeping up to date with the most current dental technologies.

Dr. Ayas takes pride in providing his patients the highest quality of care as he spends a considerate amount of time to ensure their full understanding of treatments and diagnosis to provide the proper dental care that they deserve In addition to spending time with his family of 4 children, Dr. Ayas enjoys fishing, gardening, bicycling and riding his motorcycle.
Jad Kerala
Dental assistant and Cerec specialist
Jad is a Registered Dental Assistant and Cerec specialist, He is a pre-dental student at the University of Texas of Arlington. Jad is not intimidated to assist in many different aspects of implants, cosmetic and oral surgery as he enjoys seeing new dental techniques. He has been working with Cerec CAD CAM in office crowns for over three years since he started working with the Art of Dentistry team. With the guidance of his team and doctor, Jad has been able to work with many different cases and Cerec materials as each has its own challenges along with understanding the patients’ wants and needs to create the right crown.
Hussam Alnachawati
Cerec Specialist
Sam is a Registered Dental Assistant and Cerec specialist. He was born in Damascus, Syria and has been on a long journey of becoming a dentist. He started his journey as a dental technician in 2001 then went to dental school to obtain his DDS and graduated with honors from The university of Sana’a in 2009. He then moved to Saudi Arabia for two years before finally settling in the United States in 2012. Sam joined the Art of Dentistry team in 2013 and became head assistant shortly after. He has developed a relationship with every patient as he is bilingual and friendly with everyone. With the continuous developments in technology, Sam became the Cerec CAD CAM specialist that creates same day crowns. He is also certified in Coronal polishing and pit and fisher sealants. Sam enjoys spending time with his family of 3 kids swimming and playing soccer.
Raquel Hernandez
Appointment coordinator
Raquel, was born and raised in Dallas and although she has only been a part of our team since late2019 she brings over 12 years’ experience in the dental field. She truly loves the opportunity she has every day to get to know our patients and assist them in their treatment planning. When not at work she, along with her husband can usually be found at a soccer game watching one of their three children play.
Rachel Nguyen
Office Manager
Rachel was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States when she was two years old. She is the youngest of 8 siblings and fluent in Vietnamese. She graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor in Business Administration with focus studies in Management. She started working in the dental field while still in high school. After graduating from UTA she took a position within a large corporation but due to her love of the dental field returned back again. She has been our Office Manager since 2002, since then she has developed a vast knowledge and understanding of all dental insurance coverages and benefits. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband of over 20 years and their two children.
Amina Tahir
Registered Dental Assistant
Amina is a Registered Dental Assistant and CPR certified for over 20 years, she is very accommodating with all our patients as she speaks three languages, Arabic, Kurdish, and English. She is a people’s person as she loves working with and caring for each patients’ needs. Her knowledge has been expanded by her teammates patience and motivation to teach her new things in continuously changing field of dentistry.
